With a career spanning over three decades, Don Knox is a well-respected veteran of the real estate industry. Before founding Sunwood & Associates, Mr. Knox enjoyed a 30 year tenure with The Corky McMillin Companies in San Diego, California — where he served on The Executive Committee helping to guide the strategic management of McMillin's group of acclaimed real estate companies. Mr. Knox's career expertise spans a wide range of responsibilities including asset acquisition, development and construction financing for diverse individual neighborhood and master-planned community projects, feasibility analysis and project evaluation. Presently, Mr. Knox continues to serve on the Board of Directors of The Corky McMillin Companies, and is a member of Appraisal Institute , holding both MAI and SRA designations — the highest distinction for real estate appraisers. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Barnabas Group.
